The consent alert date in iplicit's Bank Feeds module is system-generated - you cannot set or edit it manually. It records when a consent reminder email has been sent, not when one will be sent. This article explains how consent alert dates are populated, who controls the reminder timing, and how to update the person who receives the reminder.
How iplicit populates the consent alert date in bank feeds
The consent alert date field is populated automatically after a reminder email has already been sent. It serves as a record that the reminder went out, not as a scheduling tool. You cannot edit or pre-set this date.
Who controls when the consent reminder is sent
The timing of consent reminder emails is controlled by the bank, not by iplicit. Banks typically send these reminders seven to ten days before the consent expiry date. iplicit records that the reminder has been sent but does not determine when it is triggered.
Who receives the consent reminder email in bank feeds
The reminder email is sent to the responsible person linked to the bank feed. If you need to update who receives the consent reminder:
- Navigate to Bank Feeds
- Select the relevant bank feed line
- Select 'Amend Account'
- Update the 'Responsible Person' field
- Save the changes
